PSPSM for Engineers, Parts I & II
This hands-on boot camp-style course teaches software developers how to use a disciplined process in their individual software development work. During the course, the students:
- Are educated about software processes and methods, and process improvement
- Are trained in the details of a specific disciplined process
- Apply that process as they write 10 programs
- Collect data on their performance
- Analyze and report on what their data tells them

Prerequisites |
- Be an experienced programmer with a good understanding of at least one language
- Have a portable computer with the development environment for that language

Format |
Available in several formats, including:
- 2-Weeks with homework (over a period of 2 months)
- 3-Weeks straight (with little or no homework)
Each day's class consists of:
- Morning - Lecture (education) and tutorials (training)
- Afternoon - Lab (writing programs and analyzing data)
Homework consists of completing Lab work.
