Identify, plan for, and manage the risks to your software projects. During this workshop, the students:

Discuss software project risks and what can be done about them
Learn techniques to identify and prioritize project risks
Discuss the difference between risk mitigation and contingency planning
Practice producing a workable project risk plan
Practice monitoring project risks and deciding when to take corrective action
Discuss the implications of implementing these risk management techniques in software projects
